Richard's second picture posted on 12th September was the Mobil Economy Run 1959.

If pictures of models are admissible here are a couple:

Mobil Run 1959. Thanks Frank. There is a link on AlfaBB, regarding Appia and sand? But I can't open the link.

Bet there's plenty of people in the Club that would like one of those car lifts. That Zagato Tubolare is a stunning car. Never seen it before.

Re. the car lift, that was the very first thought that crossed my mind as soon as I saw the photograph.

Eye teeth comes to mind. Then I thought, where the heck could I store it when it doesn't have a car on it. Then a second thought, I'll sort something out, after all that going to be only a couple of days a year!!!!!!!

Andy,
amongst those available today are very low profile models that are on wheels, so it shouldn't be vast problem to store, but at over £1000 a pop I'm not convinced it's money well spent, perhaps that is until the first time you need one ::)

Surely the answer to "where would you store it?" is just park the car on top of it.

You used to get car hoists like this with toy cars in the '60s and '70s but this is the first time I have seen a picture of one in real life.
