Title: Stainless bumpers for Flavia/Flaminia
Post by: simonandjuliet on 20 February, 2013, 04:20:24 PM
At retromobile there was a company remaking bumpers for Flavias and Flaminias in stainless. Not cheap - 1465 euros for a Flavia but if you are stuck ........

Hi Simon

These have been on ebay several times. Made in China??. Quality looks good and would save rechroming my old ones but I like original. Chroming will be done at some stage on my car but from a distance they look fine.

Hi Simon
I believe these bumpers are made in Vietnam by a company actually based in the UK. A friend of mine buys a lot of Triumph Stag bumpers from them, and the quality seems very good. Colin Clamp has actually arranged the manufacturing of the Flavia Vignale bumpers and Flavia Sport bumpers for the Consortium. Again, a friend has fitted a pair of these, without a problem. Somewhere I have the contact details for the company in the UK. Email me if you want them.

I've been in contact with the company with the prospect of manufacturing bumpers for the Fulvia Sport (1600 S2). I'm still working on this with them.

Best wishes
Dave

I have been delighted by the S/S bumpers on my Sport and now 3-4yrs on they do not seem to have any blemishes other than those that are my fault. They are a good fit.

Just had a reply, they wouldn't entertain doing a B12 set as un-economical for them, understandable  though.

All,

I had a pair of bumpers from Colin Clamp for my 815 Coupe a couple of years ago and they are perfect.

The polished finish looks like chrome, and they fitted perfectly without any fiddling about.
