Title: Fulvia battery clamp
Post by: chriswgawne on 15 May, 2012, 04:15:55 PM
Would anyone have a battery clamp with arms for an early S1 Fulvia Sport please? I am not sure whether this part remained the same for all series and variants of Fulvia's although I imagine this is the case.

Chris,
I'll have a look in my spares in the loft as I might have the bolts but not the clamp, I'm not sure if the clamp carried over from series 1 to series 2, as the series 1 clamp on my 2c has slots in it to locate the battery cover.

Tav 58 lists battery clamp bracket and rods for S2 which are fitted to my S2 Sport and S2 coupe.

Thanks Brian and Tim,
Ideally I would like to keep to what was originally fitted (was there a battery cover on early 1st series Sports?) but at present we have no battery clamping whatsoever so not good really.
Any help or advice gratefully received.
Chris

Chris,
I have this clamp and one 'J' bolt and wing nut amongst my spares that Mike Matthews donated to me for my 2c about 12 years ago, bracket is rusty, but should clean up ok, and the bolt  & wing nut probably just needs oiling to look presentable.
You are welcome to them if they are of use.
