Title: Lancia Mobile Ainti-Aircraft Guns. Post by: fay66 on 27 December, 2011, 12:00:05 PM Just finished reading a book titled "The Home Front" Civilian Life in World War One by Peter Cooksley, and came across this little snippet of Lancia History.
In a section relating the Mobile anti-aircraft defences mainly around London by the middle of 1917, states that there were 14 mobile guns in use, 8 of which were 3-pdr High Velocity quick firing High-Angle guns on Lancia Mobile Mountings. Brian 8227 8) |
