... has a fine-looking Gamma on p133. An even better car was lined up for the photo shoot after the 2010 AGM weekend, but there was a slight cambelt malfunction which meant a last-minute substitution.

A fine looking Gamma indeed! I thought it looked great. I bought my copy yesterday - there's a photo of the LMC stand at the NEC (with a certain Cumbrian chap in shot) and a Stratos on the last page. Did anyone else manage to rip the calendar whilst trying to remove it from the glue?

(You just beat me to it Lee but I'll post it anyway.).......also a short paragraph /photo of the 'award winning' club stand at the NEC. A nice article on the last page of the late Tom Pryce, the Shadow F1 driver tested a Chequered Flag Stratos for the 1975 Tour of Epynt rally.

Apparently he loved it saying he could do anything with it. His rally only lasted 10 miles though the car sliding off and striking
a brick wall. The co-driver , a certain Dave Richards (boss of Prodrive) badly gashed his knee meaning a trip to hospital which curtailed their rally. Nice picture of Tom standing next to the car.

Page 149 has a nice piece on Nick Benwell's Phoenix Green Garage at Hartley Wintney where the VSCC was founded and Lambda folk meet occasionally for lunch, see November's VL.
