Title: Pre-war Lancia Photos from Australia
Post by: ncundy on 04 July, 2010, 12:41:28 PM
Thought these might be of interest; they were put together by Australian journalist Dennis Harrison (don't know when, mid '80's?) and came from a family friend in Australia to my dad.

The quality of Australian hires cars is to be admired, and there must a good story about the 1910 car (20HP Gamma?) that the traveller liked so much he bought it  :D

Thanks Neil,
I find the photo of the Kappa very interesting, look at the size of it compared to the occupants and the  spectators! bonnet at shoulder height, and the driver and his passenger look lost in it.

I maybe wrong, but I've a feeling that I read in the Amerian Lancia Clubs magazine "Lanciana" that the Lambda Airway shown, is the one that was in Turin for the 100th and owned by an American, the late Gary Byrd.
