Anyone know if originals are still available, or of an alternative. Car is a '53 3rd series.

Originals were not available in the early ‘90s when I rebuilt my 6th Series B20. I thought about making some up with aluminium strip, but then managed to find some Flavia Sedan stainless ones (Chugga is right!), which I bought from John Whitehouse. John was a good source of Flavia bits and may still have some more – he is in the 2000 Register of Members living in High Wycombe.

Here’s a photo of my car with strips.

But -if the car is a 3rd series - the strips would be ally, not chrome!
