Post by: toby2449 on 26 February, 2009, 06:12:54 PM ok, was reading through my copy of Automotive News Europe, & went to the January production figures for January 09 (no idea why, as i don't generally look at them!). Now this could be a mis-print, but ANE have stated that Lancia have built 245 Fulvia's. well have i been asleep for a long while?? Title: Re: have i missed something??? Post by: fensaddler on 27 February, 2009, 09:19:05 AM Even stranger perhaps, I read yesterday that laid off Fiat workers are being called back in to build the Mito (no surprises there) and the Thesis ??? Have I missed something, or has the Thesis suddenly become popular?
BTW, the Alfa 147 replacement is to be called the Milano, and the 159 replacement the Giulia. Apparently Chrysler let it out of the bag inadvertently... Title: Re: have i missed something??? Post by: toby2449 on 27 February, 2009, 09:52:21 AM yeah i was a bit shocked when i read that news a couple of weeks ago, as you say, the MiTo i can understand, but the Thesis??? Even though Lancia didn't build a single Thesis in January, i can't imagine why they'd resume production early, surely they must have a fairly decent number just sitting in fields!
