Dig those trousers... :o I also was intrigued to read the article and see Chugga in his duds, got the last copy from our local newsagent, excellent article, but I can't understand the comments about his apparel ??? Not too long ago it would have been considered the height of fashion ;D As for that smile, must have had ladies swooning all over the place. I still have some of the pockets as spanner pouches. Alas 'army surplus' shops have gone the way of scrap yards and other such beacons of civilisation and I have to make do with some kiwi walking trous called "crag hoppers" which don't wear at all well. Guess I still have trousers very much like that... At least mine are available in "short" sizes. The last of the surplus had draw strings I think.
By the way - nice article - love the colour combo of the car - and a fantastic job you made of it. David |
