Title: Trevi....only 6 left?
Post by: stuwilson128 on 05 January, 2009, 04:28:47 PM
While browsing through the latest copy of Practical Classics in WHSmith today, I spotted a news article claiming that there are only six left on the road in the UK.  Surely there must be more than that left!  Does anybody know how many are in the club?  Having looked through the 2000 Members Register, there are 14 listed.

Wouldn't surprise me if there are only six left on the road, plus perhaps a few more in a state where they could be put back on the road, which may still be in the club.  The one which turned up at the 2007 AGM was most definitely being treated as a very rare sight indeed.  The rest, I imagine, will have succumbed to rust, low values and lack of interest.

I know of 1 at least in Scotland, i shall not reveal that Leo has one, as if that rare, I fear we may have a Brocket ;) situation. ::)

Only one I've seen on the road in recent years is Tony Field's. and it was the only one at Lancia 100 Covent Garden 2006.

There is one here in Ireland in regular use at classic events and in lovely condition. It will be at the Wicklow meeting in April.
