Title: DEDRA TURBO CHIP
Post by: chugga boom on 12 October, 2008, 02:25:01 PM
does anyone know if a chip is available for dedra turbo's or if its easy enough to get the car re-mapped?, its running a bar of boost at the moment and i've increased the fuel pressure by half a bar, got a k&n and larger bore single box exhaust system. I have a tubular manifold to go on it to, the car goes pretty well now but i would have thought 200bhp should be easilly obtainable as its basically an 8v grale engine, i was told to change the map sensor for a 3bar item and run 1.2 bar boost as per integrale, this doesn't work! if you run 1.2 bar on the standard map sensor the car shuts down on overboost, by fitting the 3bar sensor it coughs splutters and runs exceptionally lumpy, anyone done any tuning on a dedra before , i'd love their knowlage  ;)

Hi James,
Give John Brain at Bob Brain Developments a ring on 07802 797872, he's done a lot with Dedra Turbo, integrale's & Lindsay Wards Racing Thema, he can probably help.
