Post by: lee69 on 04 August, 2008, 04:15:17 PM

Yeah i saw that on ebay too, very late registration, tempted to have a look as its only a few miles from me!!!!

Also saw this on Pistonheads, not really related but might be a good bargain for parts/resto?

Hi Lee, this car used to belong to my ex-wife in the late eighties early ninties. We bought it for £100 as there was a hole in the gearbox (Slipped off a jack I think!!) with another gearbox in place, new exhaust and full service it served us well for many years. We sold it to a chap locally to us at the time in Malmesbury, he had it resprayed. It was a 'T' plate as it was originally bought by someone in the forces stationed in Germany where it was originally registered, then imported into the UK in 1979. It was ordered new in RHD. Hope this answers your question. The latest original UK registered Fulvia I have seen was a car local to us that was on a 'R' plate, it was a lovely shade of primrose yellow.

Did you notice that the same seller's also got 3 Gammas for sale, 2 coupes and a Berlina.

That explains the T plate Ade, thanks.
