Title: 1.3HF CARPETS SUPPLIER AND FITTER
Post by: svgregory on 05 December, 2021, 06:20:15 PM
Hi there
I'm trying to find a reputable supplier and fitter who's knows Fulvias for new carpets and underlay and maybe some side panel trimming. In the South of England preferably but anywhere really.
Thank you

Carpets, in a 1.3HF? Surely you only want rubber mats. You can get them from Cicognani in Italy.

Well, yes, but.... didn't the 1.6 Fanalone come with a very thin cloth flooring, almost a cheap carpet. Anyone else recall this?

Thanks for your replies. The car was carpeted when I bought it in a thick black carpet (and rallied). I'm very keen to keep it original and de-rally it a bit. Are you saying no Series 1 HFs were carpeted?

I will let our resident 1.3HF expert Lancialulu give you the definitive answer, but I would just have rubber mats. As for the Fanalone I think most that came to the UK probably had some thin carpets in the front as they were Lusso spec.

Thank you - they don't sell rubber mats for RHD cars (sorry should've said)

.

My (LHD) 1.3HF came with lightweight (felt-type) carpets - which I think was the std fitment on 1.2/1.3 HF models - much lighter than heavy rubber mats ...
