Title: Rich slow running mixture/ Solex spares Post by: Richard Fridd on 23 June, 2021, 06:48:32 PM Does anyone have for sale Solex PAAI 40 (or 35) spares, particularly pilot jets and air bleed jets, so that I can advance my work regarding my slow running mixture? Richard

Check his advert, not sure if jets included P Title: Re: Solex spares Post by: GerardJPC on 24 June, 2021, 05:32:26 AM I have a complete Solex carburetor that was removed from a Fiat 124 Sport Coupe. I think it may be a C32 EIES. Is this of any use? I assume not, but know nothing about these carbs.

He has lots of jets and can advise. Title: Re: Solex spares Post by: Richard Fridd on 24 June, 2021, 01:10:21 PM Thanks for the replies, lots of useful parts on the ebay photo, but no jets that I can see, thanks for the Fiat offer but not sure of suitability (there was a nice white 124 at Hever Castle last week). I have sent a message to 1750. Thanks all. Richard

By good fortune I have found several sets of spare Solex jets in my Fulvia spares box. The air correction jets have the same external threads as my Flaminia PAAI 40 air bleed jets, so I have soldered and redrilled the holes and reduced the height to suit. Trying 1.2mm diameter holes at the moment, which has had the effect of an improved 'colourtune' test.
