Title: Dragging clutch? Post by: simonpen on 29 March, 2021, 08:50:39 AM My Fulvia now has a running engine. As part of the rebuild a modern diaphragm clutch was fitted and a new release bearing. The problem I have is that the engine will not start unless the clutch is depressed, the starter struggles to turn it over. Worse is that once started, if I release the clutch with the gearbox in neutral the engine stops. The box seems ok and was before the rebuild. Any ideas?
