Title: Beta Volumex Carburettor Post by: St Volumex on 23 April, 2008, 06:02:51 AM I imported some carburettor kits from Italy for my VX, but the needle and seat which came in the kit wasn't the same as that I found in the carb. ??? Of course that may be because it was incorrectly fitted by one of the car's 3 previous owners at some time in the past!
The old needle and seat is the same as that of the standard Beta 2000 Weber carb (DATR), but since fitting the new kit (but with a new Beta needle and seat), the carb seems to be flooding. :P Although I have a VX supplement (about 12 pages long), the info in there on the VX Weber carb is very rudimentary. Does anyone have any proper Weber VX carb information please?
