Title: Info wanted on Trevi
Post by: peteracs on 04 September, 2020, 10:03:56 PM
Hi All

I received an email for information re the Trevi as follows, I can provide email address if you have any relevant info.

Original email

Thank you very much.  I know someone who is (quietly) mad keen on Trevis, and they commented recently there is practically nothing available about its history, so Iíd quite like to find something for them.

My research has unearthed who designed the dashboard and that there was a twin-engined version, but little beyond that.  I would think the Trevi was developed on a tight budget and wasnít a huge seller, but thereís surprisingly little background information.

If anyone does know anything more, Iíd be very grateful to receive further details.

All the best,

Iíve been searching for some information about the Lancia Trevi - initial drawings, prototype pictures - that sort of thing.

Would you know if anyone has such information?  Iíve tried contacting FCA Heritage in Italy, but drew a blank.  I also tried contacting your Club Secretary, but got a bounce-back to my email.

If you could help me, Iíd greatly appreciate it.

Best regards,

Charles Kirk

Apart from the styling it's a Beta saloon so beyond the designer and the launch date there's not a lot more to say. Even the dashboard wasn't unique as it went in to last series of conventionally shaped Beta saloons. The seats are remarkably comfortable though for something that looks as flat as a park bench.

Lots of information out there on the web e.g. ( ... but I'm sure the requester can find those kind of things.

If he's after deep detail then might make sense tracking down a service manual or other technical info (e.g. ( I don't know if the club librarian can help in that respect.
