Title: Fulvia S3 unobtainable bits.
Post by: Giota on 04 August, 2020, 07:04:28 PM
Hello everyone.
Finally got round to looking at the LMC website.
Very interesting and of course I have realised I could have saved myself a lot of time and trouble.
I have had my 1974 Fulvia 1.3 S3 for over 10 years now and it has always been used.I take it to work and even go to the dump in it.It has been faultless.Only thing that went was the clutch cable and the RAC guy put in my spare in 20 minutes.
Its time to show some appreciation. Body work is fine for a 15 year old paint job.
I have an older pair of Solex Carburettors(pre emissions I hope)that will be rebuilt and swapped for the original ones. The engine and bay will be tidied and new parts added if needed.
I have had trouble finding two small parts.
The air filter support bracket and the small plate which sits at the top of heater intake cowel. It is held in place by two small screws.
I was wondering if any knows where i could find them?
I will now spend the rest of my furloughed time reading all the posts.

Is this the support bracket you need?

Normally say no connection to the seller but in this case, I know the seller who is a fellow club member!

Over to you Tim!

But if you lose it, you can then go to a hardware store, get a metal Dexion section and adapt it as necessary. Andrea

I am actually thinking of having some made up by a friend in Wales.
Maybe 25 of each as a few people seem to want these parts.
