Title: Aurelia spares
Post by: chriswgawne on 27 February, 2020, 10:31:06 AM
As you may have gathered I am taking to opportunity whilst here in Sunningdale ( until March 17 at least) to have a clear out.

I have all sorts of surplus bits and pieces here including:

2 x B12 air filters
2 x B20 windscreen washer aluminium underbonnet tanks
Dynamos and starters, rebuilt and for checking/rebuild
Front single leading shoe ( up to and incl 4th srs B22 and B12) brake assemblies, shoes, drums etc
2 x rhd B20 dashboards, both of which require some work
5 x 5th/6th series hubcaps ( the threaded screw on part - 3 rh and 2 lh). Not in brilliant condition but certainly useable.
1 x original rolled rim late wheel totally refurbed and painted metallic grey
2 x 15" wheels with Aurelia centres and (I think) Flavia rims , fully refurbed and painted metallic grey ( spares for my race car)
Steel B20 bootlid
Steel B20 bonnet with airscoop
2 x Carello/Smiths heaters for rhd
2 x B20 2.5l cylinder head
1 x B12 cylinder head
2 x B22 cylinder head
A selection of front and rear suspension coiled springs
2 x B20 radiators newly recored in aluminium for lightness (spares for my racecar)
1 x Aurelia front axle (early)
Several early front hubs

No reasonable offers refused.

How did you end up with TWO spare radiators?   I smell a saga...

Ha!
This is the result of >42 years of running Aurelias but now I must make some space!

Somewhat embarrassingly I have made an error in my list ( this will make you laugh David).
I had 4 spare B20 radiators.
One had an aluminium core and no side brackets for the shutters and this was sold and paid for a couple of weeks ago.
I have another fully restored ( at great expense, not by me) and complete radiator in Italy which is 'my' spare.
And the 2 here in Sunningdale with side brackets which are for sale have been rebuilt but to standard spec, NOT with aluminium cores. These do not have shutters fitted although I have them available.

Hello Chris, I'm interested in the B12 wheel (which doesn't look like a rolled rim in the photo). Let me know how much please and I'll see if I can afford it!
Regards, John  ;)

I also have a number of good 2.5l exhaust manifolds, a number of good aluminium bridging inlet manifolds for 2.5l and smaller and a few good mild steel 2.5l exhaust downpipes with 4 bolts.
And also a couple of early oil filter assemblies with good washable filters.
