What a lovely story. Such an elegant car.
Makes me want to get on and start work on my Flavia coupe  8)

That car was in a pretty sorry state in 2013 when I inspected it to help reclaim its original registration number with the DVLA. I am pleased it looks so good now.

I enjoyed that.  The surname seemed familiar, am wondering if his dad is a photographer or writes for classic car magazines.

...and the other Flavia mentioned is with me still.

aHH THATS WHERE IT WENT.... Seems the 2000HF was a runner though (unless that was made up for the story???)....

I really can't remember what state the other one was in, other than "much much better than mine".
