Title: Headlamp Brands / Fulvia Coupe 1st series
Post by: DELTONA on 14 May, 2019, 12:23:40 PM
I'm looking to replace the headlamps due to the corrosion of the internal reflective silvering - does anyone know what the brand/s they used for both sets?

I can see that one of my outer lamps is a Carello 07.230.700 which looks period correct and I'm happy that this is the original however the inner lamps (closer to the grille) are the ones I am struggling to see the brand name, it may possibly be SIEM but I am not sure because would they have used a Carello and a SIEM lamp? As I am looking to replace them, it would be nice to try and hunt down the correct/original brand ones.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Normally either SIEM or Carello were paired.

Parts book

Main beam (inner) SIEM 3920.00.20
                           Carello 07.245.816

Outer low beam and parking  SIEM  4371.00.95
                                           Carello 07.248.816

Carellos with 08..... are rhd versions

Carellos seem to mix reflector and glass. The glass is just one part number...... you need to see the markings on the reflector if not rusted away....

Most folk put in Cibie equivelents which imho are better headlights.

I happen to have on my shelf a single Cibie unit that I think might be 1st Series Fulvia or Flavia - see photos attached. There is also a Carello rubber seal and chrome ring. Any identification? Any offers?
