Here is a coupe of pictures of my Fulvia l have just started to re-assemble the trims and the window and door rubbers. Very fiddley re-fitting the door window rubber, after you screw on the stainless steel trim wou have to poke the rubber back in. what do you think of my door mirror ? I bought two at an auto jumble. By the way how do you put in the door glass, do you fit it with the aluminium rail attached ? I cant seem to be able to manouver the the rail on to the winder mechanism. Thanks. David. :) Title: Re: Fulvia respray Post by: ncundy on 27 February, 2012, 09:30:59 PM Yes, if you've got the quarter-light in you can do it by winding the carrier to it's lowest point. Fiddly and easier with the quarter-light out but that's not straight forward, it may be easier to take the rear rail out.
DON'T take the glass out of the rail, it's a sod to put back in and you can only do it off the car! |
