I think this one has been advertised by a dealer in East Anglia for some time (2 years or more) and at quite a bit more than the estimate here.

The cool thing about this car is it was likely sold by my late grandfather in the Golf Garage, Ipswich - the Flickr post in the link below shows it with the original dealer plates, which (from the small photos in the auction post) look like these are still on the car! The dealer is in Lowestoft so there's a fair chance it's stayed in Suffolk as you suggest.

There was a nice Spider recently sold on Facebook for a lot less, no great surprise it went within minutes. Peter |
