Those of you who collect scale models of Lancias could do worse than have a look at the website of www.racingmodels.com. I regularly get their e-mails, and they are flagging their range of Lancia models at the moment - mainly but not exclusively rally and racing variants. There are certainly some liveries and models that I've not come across before.

At last, a thread for model makers and collectors. My son, who understands automotive obsessions, gave me a Mercury Flaminia Berlina for Christmas. It is a repaint but never the less is a welcome addition to my line up.

Here's my grandson contemplating how hard he could crash my Fulvias together. Thankfully they were put back safely on the shelf and he played with the box of 'sacrificial' models that I keep for him!

Thanks Frank. They are a price aren't they? I think I only paid £40 approx. back in the day. Chris

Great set of D50 photos there. Can't remember seeing a real chassis exposed like that.

That's always the problem with these models David - ideally you need enough money to buy two, one with body off.

The beauty of that Lambda, even though it's a slightly primitive model, is that with slight modification you can slide the body off the completed kit to show the sub structure.

I recently found a reasonably priced Kess Thema 8:32. The advantage over the Norev offering is that it has the rear spoiler deployed. Norev just have stickers to represent a sun roof and the outline of the folded away rear spoiler. The one criticism of the Kess model is that the door handles stick out too far. I also note that neither models has the recess in the door panels behind the external door handles.
