I'm going to guess its a FIAT chassis and there's a gearbox in the tunnel. Is that a cut down Flaminia grill? I'd redo the interior seats and all and want different minor gauges. Nice shape to the nose.

Someone with more knowledge than me needs to provide some more info here. Highly suspect statements about its history IMHO.

A whiff of Argentina via Belgium, perhaps?

I was told by a reliable source that this car was built on a Fiat chassis, it clearly does not have a 2.5 liter engine as it has straight rocker covers with four bolts, so would be an early engine either 1750 cc 2000cc or 2266cc.
I would suggest the history is a fantasy!

Two things struck me immediately about this car.
The first is that the brake drums appear to be very narrow, For a car with sporting pretensions I would expect to see something providing a larger friction area for the front shoes.
Secondly, a minor point, but the badge is horribly skew on the steering wheel? It does not align with anything. How on earth did they manage to get something so simple so wrong ??
I would love to know the true provenance of this vehicle, but very much doubt that will be allowed the light of day!!
