Fulvia 1973 S2 1.3S Restoration - Help and advise required by new novice member

Hi
I've recently joined the club to get some help and advice with the restoration of a 1973 Fulvia S2 1.3S
This purchase has not gone down well it home, but I'm now turned 50 and suffering from a midlife crisis and a desire to return to my youth so I started a new project.
I have no great mechanical knowledge, so this was possibly a stupid thing to do.
Why a Fulvia?
Mum and Dad had an S1 when I was growing up (WMA 2E - I can still remember the registration number) and my older brother had a series 3 in the early 1980's.
My first objective is to get it running.
So I have a couple of quick questions - if anyone can help.
1. Can you recommend any good suppliers for spares
2. What is the correct battery and where can I get one.
3. Is the car positive or negative earth?
Thanks
Andrew

In short, the quickest supplier would be Omicron, see VL for details, they are extremely helpful folk and have a good stock but are slightly more expensive than buying directly from Italian suppliers.
Negative earth battery from any motor factors or Halfords.
