Mallory Park is now in the hands of the administrator.

Shame. I'm sure someone will buy it though.

What a shame. Despite its small size, I always find it a challenging circuit particularly with a reasonably full grid. I understand there are huge noise issues though so fingers crossed for its survival as a Motorsport venue. Also one of the very best circuit cafes there in the paddock.

I think the VSCC Mallory Park meeting is the best race meeting of the season, although it's the most difficult for us handicappers, being so short and having a hairpin. I gather that the VSCC once considered buying the place.

It would seem that it is the noise problem that has pushed it into administration as it may not be viable with the restrictions (which have been consistently ignored over many years). If it is lost as a Motorsport venue, lets hope it becomes a major centre for Romany travellers who will no doubt be warmly welcomed by the local community. Or how about buying it and turning into Europe's largest pig farm?
