I like his comment that they were done in period on piece work.  His challenge is to match that "quality" and "finish".   The suspicion is that they started as fixed head and then were converted.  A lump hammer has put in clearance for the hood mechanism.  Various rough tacked cover plates.  Lots of a door has been remade while he waited for the ali and steel to be dipped in their own special brews.  Floors are currently flat plate and the boot floor needs work.  Sounds like they'll be some hand work or hammer forms and some press tools made.

Having stumbled on the video it took some finding again as I confused the firm with Thornley Kelham.  Two of their employees have their own home workshops and channels for those who like this stuff.  One is ex Morgan and he's done a series restoring a body tub.  Can see why they rust.  Again they were done to a budget.  Lots of little tricks of the trade shown along the way.
