Tow Bars
«

When I bought my delta it had a tow bar on it but as I didnt intend on towing anything it came off. I doubt any delta owner actually wants a tow bar on there car so what Im asking is will it fit any other makes like a Dedra.
If any wants its it free as I dont want it, It be a shame to throw something like that away but if no one wants it thats exactly what Ill be doing.
Many thanks
Mike

Hi Mike
I don't know the answer to your specific question but, if it on an Integrale, it may not fit another kind of Lancia.
I bought a Delta towbar for my integrale and the front mount would have bolted into the standard delat's spare wheel well. Integrales don't have one of those so I had to fabricate a new brackt to bolt it to the diff cradle whiach was fitted to my car.
However, the second Integrale I bought had half a towbar fitted with a different mounting method. There was no front mounting but a bar went all along the inside of the rear valance with right angle brackets at each end. Two bolts went through each bracket into tapped holes in the rear longitudinal chassis box sections. The tapped holes appeared to be standard so, if that's the kind of towbar you have, it should fit other Deltas.
Not sure about Dedras though since thet are longer at the back!!!

Thats exactly what it is a bar that sits between the chassis at the rear.
I just seems a shame to get rid of something like that, Id imagine that there arnt too many around now.

Mike
I've been looking for a tow-bar for my 8v (which acts as a ganeral work-horse as well as an adrenaline booster) so would be keen to collect it as soon as convenient.Perhaps you could ring me on 01454322931.
Thanks,
Ben Courage
