I read with interest the excellent decision to increase upload photo size, 2 questions : why can't you reply directly to the post ? Then the real question, "Is the number of photos still limited to 8 ?"

Hi Simon

The photo upload size applies the the database ( www.lanciadb.co.uk ) and not the forum ( the pictures of the cars we use on the news pages , calendar , slideshows etc ). You can't reply directly to the post as it's just an announcement page on the club database saying what's been done - but asking here is fine Smiley

The forum remains as it was and the reason is because we're more limited in space on this platform. The forum is the forum and not a photo library. You can post photos onto something like flickr and put a link to there from our forum ( as Tony does ). The problem with that is we don't own the pictures then or have any control whereas if they're loaded onto the Forum we effective have control.

Life's not simple Smiley I will have a review of the forum to see how much space we're using and how much we're got and how much it's going to cost if we exceed it. There may be scope to extend the Forum disk space for more pictures ....
