Just wanted to say a big thank you to Paul Bishop and Richard & Jane Fisher for organising a great weekend in Mid Wales. This was our first outing with The LMC having done several trips with The Montecarlo Consortium and it was a real pleasure to make some new friends.
We stayed at The Tyny Cornel Hotel situated adjacent to Lake Tal y Llyn near Tywyn in Mid Wales, the owners Christo and Malcolm are long standing members of LMC and proved to be exceptional hosts.
On the Saturday we covered approximately 90 miles of spectacular scenery in glorious weather culminating in a special dinner back at the hotel, the highlight of which was a Lancia themed cream sponge cake made by Christo.
Thanks again to every one involved especially Paul who had undergone surgery only a few days before the event.
Peter & Jane Hunt

Plagiarising the Heineken advert,  this was probably one of the best LMC weekends I and Sarah have attended. Reiterate thanks to Paul, Val, Richard, Jane, Malcolm, Cristo and the all the Tyny Cornel team for a memorable event.

We are still shaking down our Flavia Vignale which performed far better than its driver and co driver on the 90 mile Saturday drive, and we did over 700 miles coast to coast and back again over the weekend covering 300 miles home in 5 1/2 hours including refuelling (human and car) today.

Here here,

Can only re-iterate what others have said. Big thank you to all who organised the event, planned the touring rally and hosted us in the hotel.
Weather was brilliant Friday & Saturday, but not so much so on the run home today.
What a display of cars to, from Lambda to Evo 2, around 20 in total including 3 Appia's, 2 Flavia Vignale's, 2 2000HF's and 4 Fulvia 1600 Sports.

The Beta is a rare site, and a good period colour.  How similar was the colour to the Lambda?
