Amongst my spares I have a rubber battery cover which I had planned to use on my Flaminia however it is rather smaller than the battery clamp I now have. What bemuses me is that I don't recognise a model from the part number. Can anyone enlighten me? 82123561

It might take a while Frank but I will have a look through the Library microfiche in the next couple of days.

Black and Decker drill in the bench clamp?  Haven't seen one of those in a while.  Did you have a wire brush in it?

David - I'm still using a metallic gold and brown Black & Decker that my Dad bought in about 1970. The days when the name and model number were rivetted on an enamelled plate. Back to battery covers...............

Long time since I laid eyes on it - but I have similar in a draw and my grandfather's "Wolf" drill and accessories.  While each sander has its own motor these days my grandma's Kenwood mixer is still going strong - the type James May took apart and reassembled.

Yes the Black & Decker had a wire brush in it. I use it quite a lot but the bearing for one of the shafts in the gearbox is falling to bits now so I will have to fix up another one. I also have a Wolf Cub which was my father in law's together with a host of accessories. This was most recently used to turn parts for a distaff on a spinning wheel I was fixing up.

I have had a message from Geoff Goldberg as follows:

"Saw your post on the website. While the part number starts w 821... a contemporary number, the tipo origine is 250, which is an Ardea! Is that possible? Its a bit of a reach to think they had a late part number on a part for a car that old"

Do other people think an Ardea is probable?
