Hi All

As I am currently insured with Adrian Flux I receive a monthly newsletter type email. The latest is this:-

 https://www.adrianflux.co.uk/forever-cars/a-life-of-golden-memories-with-grandads-lancia-aurelia/?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=ForeverCarsLanciaAurelia

Hopefully, you will find it of interest.

Regards,

Thank you Ian for posting the link.

Always interesting to read personal stories - also interesting that the car is a B22, the most potent of the Aurelia berlinas, certainly very rare in England.

Is the car known to the club?

By searching a bit I then found a further publication on that same car:

https://drive-my.com/en/test-drive/item/2461-1953-lancia-aurelia-b22-the-pilgrimage.html

And, on the infamous outlaw B20:

Nice article which mentioned Brian Collins of Weylock Automobiles (adjacent to the Brabham factory by the Wey Navigation) who was very helpful to me in the early/mid 70's when I was trying to get Jacky's early Italian registered lhd Fulvia 2C back on the road and registered in the UK having swapped it at a local scrapyard for her Hillman Husky (Imp based estate which always overheated). Brian became a friend having turned us onto Aurelias and he also turned my father onto Fulvias.

Really nice piece.

Sadly it seems Paul and his B22 are not known to the club.
