Is anyone arranging a Club presence at this Prescott event this year?

Hi Don

I am intending to go on the Saturday but I don't think that this year there are any club areas. It is our local meeting tonight so I will ask what others are intending to do.

I've pasted the information below from the event on their site :

You do not need to be affiliated to a car club to take advantage of this offer. All makes, models and years of Italian or French vehicles are most welcome.

Please email us with brief vehicle details and we will provide you with a dedicated reference code.

The reference code provided is specific to French or Italian cars only. You will need to enter it online when purchasing advance tickets via our website. This will secure a space in the French or Italian display zones adjacent to the track in Orchard field.

The display pass will be sent by Royal Mail with the first batch despatched during w/c 2 May. The deadline for obtaining an Orchard car park pass is Sunday 21 May 2017. Please book early to avoid disappointment. Contact: rebecca@eventspr.co.uk

Hello Steve,

Great pictures!

Jane and myself attended in her white S2 1.3S Fulvia Coupe. We didn't get down to Prescott until the lunch break and were directed into the orchard paddock in the 'Italian Cars' parking area. We were looking out for an LMC group, but have since seen your post about the same.

As you say we also spotted a few other Lancias in addition to the 1600HF and Fanalone competing up the hill - a Fulvia 1600HF (in Longchamps bronze), Flavia vignale convertible and Aurelia B20 (all in the race paddock itself) in addition to a Delta Integrale (yours perhaps?) and what we think may have been a S1 Appia parked up in the neighbouring orchard paddock.

We thought it was a good event on the whole and plan to go again next year so maybe there will be an opportunity to get a bit of a LMC display if others plan to do the same and the Bugatti owners club / organisers are amenable?

Hi Andrew
Yes, it was mine and it was an S1 Appia.
We can ask about that next year - at the least they should just be able to group the two areas - there was plenty of room to do it.

When I drove into the Orchard a BOC steward re-directed me to the padock, I was in the Belna coupe.  There was a Flavis Vignale in the lunchtime parade and another Fulvia Coupe, not a competitor.

Hope they go back to Club areas next year.

It was my Longchamps 1600 HF Coupe in the paddock next to the blue Vignale Coupe and I was "upgraded" to the paddock by some very nice stewards and the event PR director. We were also invited to participate in the lunchtime cavalcade up Prescott Hill. The event itself was a delight and although not my first trip to Prescott it was my first with the Fulvia. It was good to chat with a number of other Fulvia and Lancia owners on the day as well as watching the competition and drooling over all the many interesting cars on display.

Thank you. The "run" up the hill was only in the speed limited cavalcade but nevertheless a lovely experience and more so because it was in the Fulvia.
