This has come up on e-bay   http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/W-W-1-Lancia-Lorry-2-Others-/381996173719?hash=item58f0bf0997:g:l~YAAOSwCU1YwY59    showing a Daimler, a Lancia and a Vauxhall chassis. The place it was taken seems to be the same as another picture I have seen bearing an inscription on the reverse referring to a Lancia chassis with the Tester Boys. My question is can anybody identify who is testing them and for what purpose. I assume it is a Triotta perhaps destine for an RUC armoured car or perhaps a Royal Navy ant-aircraft gun carrier.

Lancia based Anti-Aircraft guns were used around London in conjunction with searchlights mounted on trams to try to shoot down Zeppelin raiders, as were Daimler based anti-Aircraft Guns.

I think WW1 Iota or I/MZ used by RNAS in a variety of roles.
