It has been announced that one time Lancia Fulvia works driver Tony Fall has died while on holiday in Tanzania. He was assisting the organizers of the East African Safari Classic Rally, when he was taken ill. He died in his sleep on the night of Saturday 1 December, of a suspected heart attack.

More details and a biography is available at http://www.italiaspeed.com/2007/motorsport/rally/other/tony_fall_obituary/0512.html.

a mistake I think in the link. Correct me if I'm wrong.

"before joining the works Lancia squad in 1968. In this role, he achieved considerable success with the pretty and compact front-drive Fulvia coupe, including victory on the Rally Portugal in 1968"

He was disqualified in 1967 from TAP after finishing 1st and was 1st in 1969 TAP
