S1 Fulvias of all models with the cast steering column didn't have a steering lock. Bloster in Viale Monza, Milano made a period accessory to fit all S1 Fulvias which did the job, was well made and looked pretty good in crackle black with a nice brass badge and chrome plated lock. We currently have one on our GTE and this one which is surplus was fitted for a very short time to our S! aluminium Sport a few years ago before we sold it. It is as new with full instructions in the original packaging and the only evidence of use is that fact that I scraped the paint off the inside of the 2 cast parts to give a better fit on our steering column. Any interest please email me. If no interest I will ebay it. Chris

Tim, I suspect not as the box is only labelled Fulvia and Lancia weren't known for much parts interchangeability/commonality between models were they? Chris

I saw one for a Flaminia advertised on e-bay.it recently so if you keep a look out you may find a Flavia one. They clamp around the steering column shroud so are model specific.

They often come up for sale on ebay.it. I've had one fitted to "Fay" for about 15 years now, it always generates a lot of interest as no one knows what it is, and it isn't until you show them how it works they fall in. Very effective device, and just something else to help keeping thieving hands from removing your pride and joy. Brian 8227

This Bloster lock for S1 Fulvia is now available again. The prospective purchaser found a problem with the non-standard steering wheel he had fitted and understandably didn't want to modify the block to suit. Its in the UK and is £95 delivered in the UK. Chris

I still have this Lovely Bloster steering lock available in the UK for £80 delivered. Lots of S1 Fulvias have come into the UK recently. Possibly a new owner would like to buy themself a Christmas present? Chris

I am so surprised this lovely Bloster lock hasn't been snapped up by one of the many new S1 Fulvia owners whose cars have either been been imported or restored recently. An essential security accessory in my opinion - we use our Bloster steering wheel every time our car is left anywhere public. Anyway the story has a happy ending as I will be fitting it to our new acquisition which is just about to be loaded in an artic for delivery w/c May 21st. Chris
