Anyone doing anything Lancia on Sunday April 23rd - DRIVE IT DAY?

I have signed up (I hope) for the Hagerty Insurance run (I am not a customer of theirs....)

Starts at Towcester Race course and finishes at Bicester Heritage Sunday Scramble (free entry).

See https://www.hagertyinsurance.co.uk/articles-and-resources/events/drive-it-day#

Be good to get another Lancia on the event.

Tim,
You wont be alone, I and as yet an unknown number of Montecarlos will be at the Bicester Heritage Centre on a Monte Meet so see you there.
Linda Shipley is our co-ordinator but Rod is currently recovering from a major heart operation so don't know if they will be there yet.
I have not been to the centre before but I am told it is worth a visit.

Tim, I have planned a route for the Surrey members on 23rd April for DiD around 20 miles to take 45 minutes to a country pub with parking, if any one else would like to join please let me know.

Tim,
I shan't be on the run but I'll be at Bicester Heritage with the PR01 Kit.

Four Lancias (lovely Flaminia Touring, 2 fulvias and an Appia Zagato) or maybe 5 including the new 1600 HF acquisition by Barrie Wizzo Williams took part in this year's Hagerty Drive it day run, ending at the Sunday Scramble at Bicester where a further 7 or 8 Beta MonteCarlos, Brian's FAY, another 1600 Sport, a Strato's replica and a Gamma Coupe were to be seen along with other LMC members. Great day!

No mention of Mike and Cyn Wheeler in their March Augusta, who were there. Don't the owners of the modern Lancias recognise them?

Yes and I was in it at Silverstone. Had a great drive home, but getting there was a tad cold.

John,
Not a case of newer owners not recognising older Lancia's and there owners, but it's such a warren there that it's difficult to see all of what is there, and the owners. I only came across the Zagatos on my last lap around, also as many of the cars were on the Hagerty run and weren't there when I did the first lap, and I didn't fancy doing another complete lap later on.
I can confirm the presence of  Mike and Cynthia but I didn't see their Augusta, although Cynthia confirmed that's what they were in, Peter Loftus was also in attendance in his Fulvia Zagato as was Chris Hopkins in his Monte Carlo, and the Club Member who owns the Fulvia Zagato with 9000 miles on the clock.
There was also a lovely blue Appia Zagato but no one seemed to know who it belongs to, although I've seen it before.

Total of 12 Montecarlos !
but we won't get into which ones were Beta Montecarlo, and which were Montecarlo .......

Brian, the LMC member with the super low mileage Zagato is Fred Anderson.

As I was driving from Bristol to Yorkshire in the Beta on Drive It Day I amused myself by spotting classics on the almost exclusively motorway drive;

M5 South of Gloucester - AC Ace Coupe (?) at speed!
M42 - 1970's Chevrolet Camero.
M1 Nottingham - mint yellow Alfa 145 Cloverleaf (how many of them do you see?)
