Ugly though isn't it?
Looks like it's ready to swallow Jonah.
Often find that coachbuilder's interpretation is much inferior to the original design. Esp so for E Types and other Jags and evidently Lancias too.

I think you need to see it in the metal, each to their own but I loved it when I saw it in the Lancia Collection in 2004.
Although I do agree Lancia did a good job first time around, perhaps that why design houses couldn't improve on the original.

To be fair, many of the one-off coachbuilders' efforts were never intended to appeal to the masses; they were to showcase their fabrication abilities and act as 'show-stoppers' to challenge existing conventions. Few were ever intended for future production - most Italian coachbuilders just didn't have 'production' facilities; a run of half-a-dozen would probably have stretched their resources..
