FCA has send me the link for the copy so it's just been ordered and paid for. Will let you know when it turns up ... UK was not listed as a selectable address so I just typed everything in as best I could ....

yes when I met them at Padova they went through it and something like "speed address" came up. I pointed out that we are not familiar with that term.....

Yes I saw that and the Zipcode field isn't large enough for a UK Postcode. But having worked with the club database and the membership addresses there is nothing standard about them around the world Smiley

I've just completed payment for a certificate; everything was quite straight forward once I identified the Italian for Great Britain (I was looking for UK!) and the zip code took a standard UK 7-digit postcode no problem.

Steve,
I believe the UK in Italian is REGNO UNIDO from memory.

It is Regno Unito, and you do actually often see it used nowadays. In the past it would have seemed pompous, perhaps rightly, and Gran Bretagna, or even shockingly Inghilterra, might have been usual.

Ciao a tutti

Would have been nice if he had shown what was on the authentication certificate and how relevant!

Brian that is the top level certificate costing c600eu and an "engineer" crawls over the car and documents a file (ring binder style) file on the car. It is only 600eu to do one car but much cheaper if a batch was done - at the AGM??

Hi All, as an update the document arrived today via DHL - one day late because of the snow - so that's two weeks ( basically ).

I've added thoughts on extending the database to record this here : http://www.lancia.myzen.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=10044.0

I can't believe that. When Lancia Club Italy used to be asked for this kind of information, it was to hand. Where is it now?

Paul,
Being cynical, why give the information away when you can make money out of it, so thats probably where the information went.
