I know it is still a long way off but, the dates have been confirmed for the 2018 Sliding Pillar Rally.
It will be held from Friday 8th June to Monday 11th June at the St Pierre Marriott Hotel and Country Club, near Chepstow.
We have some interesting routes planned including driving along the Wye valley.
More details nearer the time.

Plans for next years event are now at an advanced stage, so I hope to be sending out booking forms next month.
We will be staying at the St Pierre Hotel and Country Club, just outside of Chepstow NP16 6YA.

Arrivals from 3pm on Friday 8th June 2018. In the evening subject to the weather we hope to have a Barbecue.

On Saturday 9th June we will follow an interesting country route visiting some of the castles in the area, ending at Skenfrith for lunch. We will also visit a local producer of Rose Water who has been featured in several television programs.
After lunch our route will take us via the Wye Valley back to the hotel. The evening Gala dinner will be held at the hotel.

On Sunday 10th June we will drive to the Roman town of Caerleon where there we be plenty of time to visit the various museums in the town and the famous amphitheater. Lunch will be at a hotel in the town. The evening farewell dinner will be held at the hotel.

On Monday after breakfast we will say our farewells.

Over half of the available rooms have already been booked.
Please do not leave it too late if you wish to enter. Many people were disappointed when they missed out last time!

Nearly full now!
If you are thinking you would like to attend this year, please be quick as I have to give the hotel final numbers very shortly.

I am very local to Chepstow, and would be interested in joining but not staying over in hotel, is there a non residential option or residential only? Thanks John

Nearly all the rooms at the hotel for this year's Sliding Pillar Rally have been booked, but there is still time to grab one of the last places if you are quick.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you wish to attend, as I have to give the hotel final numbers next week.

All of the original allocation of rooms have been filled, but I may be able to get a few extra if you are quick.

Arrived just under 50% safely home. B10 fine exc unable to engage reverse in drive and Augusta being relayed back with ?broken con rod 2 miles from Chepstow.
Event was excellent due to the Rudler's peerless organisation (as usual) and the weather being fantastic. Great to see some old mates and one or two new cars.
Roll on 12m until the Ardennes!!
