Looking at a recipe for 'Sedani con Vodka a Salmone Affumicato', mentioned in the text was Giorgetto Giugiaro. Others may already be aware of his pasta design 'marille' https://foodforfuture.wordpress.com/2010/11/28/designers%E2%80%99-pasta-pasts/

I can see the similarity to cambelt 'teeth', and as I understand it, similar to door rubber seal profile. Alas dropped commercially due to not having uniform heat transfer properties, so I assume not so cooked in the centre join? Any chefs here? On the subject of designers mentioned, I quite like the Philippe Starck Aprillia 650
