I have just refitted the air cleaner to the carbs (solex) on my 1600 Sport and have this bit left over.
It would appear to be the warm ait intake pipe but I cannot see where it should be mounted.
I assume it connects to the air filter box inlet with a flexible pipe of some sort.
Can someone ut there tell me where it bolts on?

Bolt it on to the exhaust manifold, and join to airbox with air hose. It should pick up some heat

Ben,
Never one fitted to my 2c neither does it have the summer /winter setting on the air cleaner nozzle, but I can't say I've ever felt I was missing out nor found it necessary, but one thing I do know looking at one fitted, is that it makes access a darned sight worse!
