This car at Race Retro. Converted into race/rally car by Richard Thorne in early 90's, raced with HSCC. Rebuilt engine by Omicron around cira 2007. Raced CTCC in 2014. Comes ready to race and with spare engine. Estimate was £20-25 unsold. Contact 01926691141 Image www.retro-speed.co.uk

The registration looks familiar. I think I saw it rallying at Castle Coombe in the early nineties.

Strangely I saw a restoration project on eBay last year, an old Mercedes saloon that was registered GPG3C..... Tried to persuade a friend to buy it at the time but he cried poverty.....

No it was GPG 7C. There is a picture on the internet available from CMJ Photography captioned

 "Michael Foley, Lancia Fulvia Sport Zagato, GPG 7 C, BARC Club Car Championship, Brands Hatch 7th September 2014".

Here is a photo of the car when it was being raced by Mark Hoble. In 2005 Mark was awarded the Peter Pompilii Zagato trophy for being so bold as to race this car in the HSCC series.
