Keys sets
« on: 17 February, 2016, 05:07:08 PM »
Hi Folks,

Having acquired a rather nice Series 1 Flavia PF Coupe a few months ago and I've been sorting out a few little issues as you do.  The current one is that I only have one set of keys.
Any suggestions as to where I can get a set of blanks to get them cut myself.  All posts greatly received.

Cheers,  Peter

Ebay.it has them from time to time but be careful as the profiles swapped from Flavia white to Fulvia black I think. So unless you are sure they are showing the correct key blank profile go with care. My local keys are us in Colchester has been able to match the profile and cut a second se for me as the every day set but these have metal heads.
Its not the winning but taking part! or is it taking apart?

For blank keys you could have a look at this supplier in Italy ..........

The key illustrated on the above web page is black but if it is the same key as the Appia then they are also available in white.

Many thanks for your quick replies.  It's good to get new spares sources where ever they are.
I have one black key and one white key, so we will see !

Cheers,  Peter

I was always under the impression that black key for ignition and white key for doors, boot, filler cap and glove box.

Hi

Try this Cheltenham company.   http://www.locksmithsincheltenham.com/  Professional and efficient, friendly service.

I got 2 of my S1 Fulvia keys made up and they look exactly like the originals (black & white).

Another time on an S2 Fulvia, the ignition key had almost snapped, brought to them and they made one up. Perfect fit!

But if you've lost the key, send them the lock mechanism and they'll make one up.
