You know how it is.........it comes around once a year.......out to our favourite restaurant (you need to book 6 mths in advance!), and our son's new career allows him to make this........so very enjoyable!

There was a lovely one at Covent Garden in 2007 cut by the Lady Mayor and the Gent from Lancia, to celebrate 100 years of Lancia, I've found the photo but can't find the location it's in choose file, it's in Windows Photo Gallery but this location doesn't show in Pictures Huh? pity we can't drag and drop photos, much easier.

Brian, here's one of you taking the photo of the cake that you can't now find! A big cake for a big occasion.

Any resemblance to a Flavia Vignale is not a coincidence! Both car and cake driven by love and affection.

Colin, that is brilliant!!

The problem that comes with cakes like these is it seems criminal to actually cut into them and eat them!!!

It did get eaten and I can remember enjoying it, although it hurt to make the first cut. Unlike the huge Covent Garden cake, when I was too busy and didn’t even get close.

Thank you Colin, can't say I've seen that one before.

I'm relatively new to the forum but having seen some of the restoration threads I would say that Chugga could restore that cake to original condition.

I was thinking that Colin Clamp has seen a few Flavias that look very similar to the before, and a few more again like the after...
