Bob Seaney came across it and bought the whole stock from the shop! Brought them to the Kent and Sussex meet and sold the lot for what he paid! Nice bloke Bob. Smiley

Brilliant read and absolute bargain.

Robin.

This is exactly what the Club should be and indeed is all about!!! Exemplary!!

Just bought the last two in my local shop, one for me and one for my 12 year old nephew's birthday (never too young for a book like this).

Small world; I found out recently his step-uncle was a member of the LMC back in the 80s (ish) anyone remember Eric Thompson ? Staffordshire / South Manchester area.

I went into my local shop in Luton on Saturday but they are not stocking it, seems not all the shops carry the same items Angry

Brian, I went to two local branches it was not stocked, but the helpful assistant suggested I order on line to be delivered to my local branch, then collect when I want at no extra charge, it arrived in 2 days for £10, seemed good value.

I think you should get two for that! Why not take it up with them?

Such a shame there are such glaring typographical errors in this book. And I don't like seeing photos of non standard examples of models which purport to be as they were when new. It's lazy composition and editing.
I know it's not expensive but to be honest it offends me as it is there for posterity.

Brian,

Don't succumb to all this expensive online stuff (£9 !!), when my local store has re-stocked I'll get you one.
