It looks to be well worth taking on if you are after a Vignale, would be a bit worried if any of the fuel injection bits are missing

All the complicated and tricky bits in the Kugelfischer fuel injection system are contained in the main pump, which is below the plenum chamber shown in one of the photos. If this unit is still full of oil and not mucked about with, it's probably not too difficult to get it back into good order. And a Flavia with Kugelfisher injection working as it should, is a delight to experience. as I remember from the not too distant past - see photo.

The number of RHD Vignales quoted (49), is that all types or just the KF (inezeone) model?

Total production of iniezione Flavia Vignale is quoted at 43 (tipo 814.434/435)
Not sure where the RHD figure comes from, but unlikely to be much more than 49 in total for all engine types.

with regard to the injection system I can't spot the fuel and air pipes, the injectors or the injector manifolds in the boot or the boxes, with my car the injector pump had oil in but the tricky bits inside had all seized so it was a specialist repair as the screws holding it together were unusual as I remember and I could not even disassemble it plus various special tools were quoted in the workshop manual I had. A guy in Nottingham who maintained BMW racers fixed it.
