The Club has been invited to the above event to be held on the Late Bank Holiday weekend at the home of the Bugatti Owners Club. This years event will expand on the French Theme to include Ettore Bugatti's birth country.

If interest for a club stand I will contact the organisers.

Well , that sounds perfect for a Bristol outing ! So yes, we're interested ! That's also 2 weeks after the other event at Prescott ....

We can discuss on Wednesday ... French and Italian sounds a good mix

I went in 2014 in my Belna Coupe, as an Italian/French car I was allowed in to the paddock, its an excellent event.

It would be a great outing especially for any Belnas and Ardennes.

Clubs get allocated space in the Orchard which is close to all the action on the hill.

I am available for this, but only one day probably, any suggestions of which day?  Saturday would be my first choice, but if we can have a Club space for the weekend, that will be useful.

I'm a Member at Prescott, went every meet last year. Fabulous place! Short of walking on the track, you can go everywhere. Hoping to go to this meet in my Fulvia 1600HF, off the road for 30 years and should be finally restored in time.
Anyone interested in taking their car up the hill should join the Bugatti Owners Club(first year is half price as an Associate) and then on the private members day in the summer you can drive up the hill untimed, I think it was £10 for 3 runs last year
Kind regards.

The 50th Anniversary of the club in 1997 held  a complete day just for the LMC at Prescott, great day with a few runs up the hill in my Thema.
Can we hold the AGM in that area again and repeat the experience please Grin

Going back to the topic, the IAMC site says the 28th will feature French cars and the 29th Italian : see http://www.italianautomotoclub.co.uk/index.html

However, looking at our information and the information on the Prescott Site and can't see anything that confirms that this is true. This is something we clarify I guess before a recommendation is made as to when to go or a group on each day.

It would seem that it's Italian themed on the Saturday (May 28th) and French on the Sunday (May 29th). We discussed the need for clarification on this matter at the recent Bristol area meet.
I'm very tempted to attend on the Saturday.

Yes, tickets are now offered for sale and it is as you say Ian - Saturday is Italian. We were planning to go the Saturday anyway.

Perhaps Simon can clarify whether we're there one or both days and whether they need expected numbers from us ( of cars ) ?

I plan to attend on the Saturday with my B20 GT and have found their PR Contact, Rebecca Leppard, most helpful.

rebecca@eventspr.co.uk

She is very keen on having a good LMC attendance.

Adam,

This is the person I have been in contact with, but an email asking for space for upto 10 cars a couple of weeks ago has not been answered.

Will try another email and see how far I get.

Regards
