Recently, I have bought a couple of Appia handbooks - 3rd Series and Jolly van in Italian and from Italy.

Both arrived with very nice surprises ......

The 3rd Ser. with a delightful handwritten receipt for oil change and carwash plus an article removed from a period magazine

The Jolly van handbook arrived in an envelope with the most amazing display of old stamps, front and back and all in Lira . There were NO Euro stamps at all ...... all franked this weekend and delivered in record time !

It's what eBay should be about
